Résumé
My resume covers both my work experiences and my interests. For me, these things go hand in hand. No matter the goal or purpose of the work, I love helping people through creative, strategic communications. Through my experiences, I gained experience in fast-paced work environments and became an expert with media creation platforms, including Adobe Apps (Premiere Pro, Express, Photoshop) and Canva.
During my summer internship for the Senate Committee on Agriculture, Nutrition, and Forestry, I worked with a group of talented individuals to help America's farmers. Simply being in the environment and attending daily meetings with organizations taught me how to interact politically and professionally with clients - a key skill at public relations firms. Importantly, the work was very meaningful as the Committee's decision impacts farmers across the nation.
Throughout the year, I also combined my passion for music and writing. For the ring-tum phi, I wrote articles revealing untold stories on W&L's campus. This taught me how to get out of my comfort zone and connect with strangers and tell their story. I also wrote opinion articles on music. For example, I recently wrote an album review. With my extensive music knowledge and ability to write, my strongest work and my passions lie in these articles. Importantly, I also want others to find joy in music.
This past year, I joined CampusWell because I wanted to strengthen my media creation and communication tactics while benefiting my community's health. After researching health topics, I hand-picked information that best fit my audience, W&L Students, and created infographics with Adobe Express and Canva.
